Biography

Wang Heng: Coming from a family of plastic surgery physicians, he entered the field of oculoplastic surgery and revision of failed oculoplastic surgery in 2012. Over the years, he has devoted himself to the study of oculoplastic surgery and revision. He has developed profound expertise in oculoplastic surgery, repair of impaired ocular function, revision of complications following failed double eyelid surgery, medial canthoplasty and revision of failed complications, periocular fat grafting, and other oculoplastic and aesthetic procedures. He has also achieved academic recognition in “medial canthus repair” and “ptosis correction”. He has published related papers in journals such as the Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery and the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology. He has extensive clinical experience in oculoplastic surgery and possesses an independent innovative spirit and advanced technical concepts. He has successfully completed thousands of revision surgeries for various types of severe ocular functional impairment and failure.

Professional Experience and Training:
Since 2012 to present, he has continuously participated in national physician exchange and training programs on ptosis correction and oculoplastic revision;
In 2014, he went to a plastic surgery hospital in South Korea to study ptosis and oculoplastic revision;
In 2016 and 2017, he visited Taiwan and Japan for further study, integrating local excellent oculoplastic concepts and learning advanced oculoplastic techniques and concepts.

In 2015, he participated in the Fifth National Summit Forum on Ptosis Treatment and Oculoplastic Surgery; in the same year, he participated in the national ptosis “Vision China” charitable assistance program;
In 2017, he participated in the National Ptosis 100-Patient Charitable Assistance Public Welfare Activity in Beijing.
In 2017, he was invited to attend the Peking University Canthal Elite Forum.
